One could say Nick Rhodes is the heart of DURAN DURAN. Being the only original member that has been with the band the entire length of its career, Nick's dinstinctive layering of synthisizer and keyboard can be heard in every album.

.Nick Rhodes changed his name from Nicholas Bates.
Rumour has it it was due to his fondess of Rhodes Synthesizers.

.TV MANIA is Nick Rhodes and Warren Cuccurullo's Producing Unit.

.In 2000, Nick teamed up with former DURAN DURAN vocalist Stephen 'Tin Tin' Duffy and formed THE DEVILS. They released 'Dark Circles', an album of re-worked pre-Duran music.

Nick is credited with writing much of the lyrics and music to the DURAN DURAN releases 'Medazzaland' and 'Pop Trash'. Two critically acclaimed sleepers.

With TV MANIA & DURAN DURAN and as a solo producer, Nick has produced music for KAJAGOOGOO, MISSING PERSONS, THE DEVILS and more recently THE DANDY WARHOLS.
